Active Principles
Flavonoids: Glucosilflavonoides and C-O-glycosides. Tannins Catechists (10%).
Drug Action
Diuretic, especially azotúrico, anti-inflammatory, cholesterol, blood glucose lowering soft. Astringent (antidiarrheal healing).
Indications
States that require an increase in urine output: genitourinary disorders (cystitis, ureteritis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, oliguria, urolithiasis), hiperazotemia, hyperuricemia, gout, high blood pressure, edema, overweight accompanied by fluid retention.
Prostatitis, benign prostate adenoma.
Hypercholesterolemia, atherosclerosis prevention, adjunct in the treatment of diabetes.
Diarrhea. In topical use: wounds and skin sores, mouth or corneal, blepharitis, conjunctivitis, parodontopatías, pharyngitis, dermatitis, erythema, pruritus, vulvovaginitis.
Contraindications
Severe kidney disease. Gastritis, gastroduodenal ulcus (tannins).
Do not prescribe dosage forms with alcoholic content for oral administration in children under two years or consultants in the process of alcohol addiction.
