Active Principles
Tannin, gallic acid, essential oil (0,3-1%): citronelal, limonene, terpineol; resin, polienos, poliínos.
Drug Action
The tannins give it an astringent, antidiarrheal. The polienos and poliínos, an antiseptic, uricosuric diuretic, anti-inflammatory.
Indications
Diarrhea. States that require an increase in urine output: genitourinary disorders (cystitis, ureteritis, urethritis, oliguria, urolithiasis), hiperazotemia, hyperuricemia, gout, high blood pressure, edema, overweight accompanied by fluid retention., Bronchitis, metrorrhagia, vulvovaginitis , Stomatitis, parodontopatías.
Contraindications

Internal use:
